Microsoft Certified Professional

The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification validates the ability to configure devices and the network connectivity for devices running Windows 10. Restoring files, rolling back drivers and providing recovery on devices running Microsoft Windows 10 are key elements to this certification.

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification validates the understanding of technology challenges in an enterprise level organization and the ability to provide solutions for desktop and device management. MCSA professionals understand virtualization through Hyper-V and how to configure and manage this product along with remote access solutions.

Microsoft Office Professional In Microsoft Excel: Core Data Analysis, Manipulation & Presentation

The Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft Excel validates that students have a fundamental understanding of Excel and the skills to successfully perform operations with formulas and functions, in addition to managing data.

Microsoft Certified PRofessional In Power BI (MCP)

The Microsoft Certified Professional in Power BI (MCP) certification program helps analysts creatively engage with data, construct interactive visualizations, configure Power BI dashboards, and more.

Certification Weeks: 4 – 7

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate In Power BI (MCSA)

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in Power BI (MCSA) certification validates the ability to create and optimize data visualization techniques via specific tool types. This certification ensures that students can create and identify key performance indicators, and successfully manipulate and cleanse data.

IT Career Lab Student Achievement

Tamar West
Tamar West had plenty of experience in Information Technology, having worked in the U.S. Navy as an information technician. Her goal was to successful transfer her military skills to a civilian career. After being laid off from a career in healthcare administration, she now saw an opportunity, but first she needed to update her technology skills. Tamar came to National Able Network where she learned about IT Career Lab and was blown away by how effectively her instructors conveyed so much complex information to her so quickly!

Tamar went on to earn her Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certifications, and she is now back in the IT profession working as a Software Technician!

Wenceslao Garcia
After earning his Bachelor’s Degree, U.S. Navy veteran Wenceslao Garcia needed assistance in finding a career in a struggling economy. He came to National Able Network for job search assistance and began working with the Veterans Forward program. Wenceslao soon learned about IT Career Lab. He was intrigued by the growing Information Technology industry in Chicago and decided to enroll! After a few weeks, Wenceslao earned his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification!
