Tamar West had plenty of experience in Information Technology, having worked in the U.S. Navy as an information technician. Her goal was to successful transfer her military skills to a civilian career. After being laid off from a career in healthcare administration, she now saw an opportunity, but first she needed to update her technology skills. Tamar came to National Able Network where she learned about IT Career Lab and was blown away by how effectively her instructors conveyed so much complex information to her so quickly!
Tamar went on to earn her Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certifications, and she is now back in the IT profession working as a Technical Support Specialist!
